What mailfloss reaches through Zapier.
Zapier is how mailfloss reaches apps it does not integrate with natively — CRMs, form builders, billing, helpdesks. It is a real path and it works, but the steps mailfloss publishes for it are narrower than what a native integration does, so this page keeps the two apart instead of counting them together.
How does mailfloss work with Zapier?
mailfloss publishes a Zapier app with one trigger, Flossing Completed, and one action, Add Email — so an app in Zapier's directory that can supply an email field can push an address to mailfloss for verification, and a completed flossing session can start a Zap of its own. Use it for apps mailfloss does not connect to natively. For an email platform mailfloss integrates with natively, use that instead: the native connection re-checks the contacts already in the platform and writes removals, tags, and typo fixes back into it. mailfloss publishes no Zapier step that does either — Add Email takes one address you hand it.

A brokered connection is built from the steps each app publishes, so here are ours in full rather than a count of apps we have never built anything for. What a whole Zap can do also depends on the steps the other apps in it publish.
Flossing Completed
Fires when a mailfloss flossing session completes and its emails have been verified. It starts a Zap of its own, which is where you act on the outcome.
Add Email
Sends an address to mailfloss for verification. This is the step you add to an existing Zap, wherever that Zap gets its email field from.
Zapier MCP and SDK
The same Add Email action is callable from an AI agent over Zapier MCP, or from your own code with the Zapier SDK. If you are building rather than wiring, our own REST API at api.mailfloss.com is the more direct route.

Connect mailfloss to Zapier
In Zapier, add mailfloss as a connected app and authorize it with your mailfloss account. The Zapier integration is included on every mailfloss plan.

Trigger on the event that produces the address
Start the Zap from the app that has the email: a new Stripe customer, a new Pipedrive person, a form submission. Whatever that app publishes as a trigger is what you get.

Add the mailfloss Add Email action
Map the trigger’s email field into Add Email. That is the whole mailfloss side of this Zap — the address goes to mailfloss for verification.

Act on completed sessions in a second Zap
mailfloss publishes the Flossing Completed trigger for this: it starts a Zap of its own when a session finishes, and takes a required setting, Passed email verification, which is what you filter on. Build the follow-up steps against the fields that trigger returns for your account rather than assuming them.
